Overview

The social area of Ana and Pedro's house is based on a clear premise: the design must integrate architecture, use and atmosphere in a single language. The project articulates the BBQ area, the jacuzzi and the TV room in a continuous environment, where proportion, materiality and light build a balanced and livable experience.

The intervention develops from the recognition of the existing space, acting with precision to transform it without losing its essence. Mineral surfaces, natural stone and wooden details combine to generate warmth within a sober and contemporary composition. Each decision responds to the intention of ordering the space and consolidating a coherent atmosphere, where the elements do not compete, but are integrated in a natural way.

Result

The resulting space is organized based on a clear reading where each element plays a role within the whole. The jacuzzi is positioned as a focal point, while the BBQ and outdoor living room are articulated around it, allowing flexible use between social gatherings and moments of rest.

The pergola and integrated lighting provide depth and environmental control, reinforcing the continuity between interior and exterior. The intervention demonstrates how, through precise decisions and a unified language, it is possible to transform an everyday area into a timeless, functional and carefully designed space to be lived in.
